3.Water treatment. Proper water treatment prolongs boiler life and ensure safe and reliable operation. Besides blown down of water, oxygen removal and descaling are essential to do regularly during the operation of boiler. There are also many chemical approaches can be used.
4.Waterside and fireside surfaces. Waterside and fireside surfaces should be inspected and cleaned
Annually. The heating surface may be attached by some material from fuel, oil, dust or others, which will low the heating efficiency.
5.Safety valves. Safety valves are on of the most important safety devices on the boiler, it works as the last line of defense for protecting the pressure vessel from overpressure. Safety devices, such as pressure meter, temperature meter, automatic protective device are also should be maintain regularly.
6.Refractory. Refractory protects steel from overheating. It also helps maintain proper burner flame patterns and performance.
